BIOGRAPHY OF SANT BABA HARNAM SINGH JI (GURDWARA RAMPUR KHERA) BY SEWA SINGH (SANT)

Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji arrived on this earth on Friday 5th August 1905, in the village of Alowal to Baba Ram Singh Ji and Mata Rattan Kaur. His influence on the world had been predicted on two occasions prior to his birth.

After the departure of Baba Nand Singh, on the tenth day of his leaving this earthly coil, the Sant's Sangat (holy gathering) offered Ishar Singh his turban, symbolic of the dawning of the mentle of his successor to continue with the Divine work, but he was still in a state of shock at the departure of his dear one.

Bhagat Kabir (1441-1518) was a Devotee, Saint and Gurmukh born in Uttar Pardesh, India. He was a monotheist and follower, probably founder, of Gurmat.

There are 134 hymns of Sheik Farid incorporated in the Guru Granth Sahib. Many Sikh scholars ascribe them to Farid Shakarganj (1173 – 1265) of Pak Pattan, a disciple of the Sufi Qutbuddin Bakhtiyar Kaki. The tenth in succession to his post was Shaikh Brahm (Ibrahim), also known as Farid Sani or Farid the 2nd, and it is this Farid who Guru Nanak Dev ji met on two occasions.

Sant Teja Singh earlier named Narahjan Singh, was born on 14 May 1877 in a Mahita Khatri family at the village of Ballovali, in Gujranwala district of the Punjab (now in Pakistan). Teja Singh completed his schooling at Fazilka and then went to Lahore where he received his Master's degree in English literature in 1900 from Panjab University
